Revision of AS/NZS 4308:2008 update

Technical Committee 039 has been assembled under the Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand charter, to review Standard AS/NZS 4308-2008, Procedures for specimen collection and the detection and quantification of drugs of abuse in urine.

The WDTA has two seats on the committee and one casting vote. The growth of the workplace on-site testing and collection industry has been significant since the last iteration of the urine standard in 2008. Our aim, through active participation and lobbying, is to ensure that our members have a voice within the committee, reflecting the scale of growth in testing volume and market size, of the workplace on-site drug and alcohol screening and collection industry.
